We welcome responsible pet owners and their well-behaved dogs. This policy outlines the conditions of your dog's stay, which must be strictly adhered to for the comfort and safety of all guests.

1. Eligibility and Health Requirements

• Dogs Only: We regret that no cats or other animals are permitted on the property.
• Health: All dogs must be current on vaccinations and have been de-fleaed and de-wormed prior to arrival.
• Temperament: No aggressive or disruptive dogs of any breed are permitted. Management reserves the right to ask the owner to remove any dog causing nuisance or danger.
• Kiwi Zone: Please be mindful that we are in a protected area (Kiwi Zone). Pet owners must exercise extra vigilance and adhere strictly to all leash and control rules.

2. Accommodation

• Designated Areas Only: Dogs are permitted exclusively in Cabins, Bunkrooms, and Camp Sites (subject to park management approval at the time of booking).
• No Access: Dogs are strictly prohibited inside all Tourist Units, Studio Units, and all communal park facilities, including the kitchen, amenities blocks, laundry, TV lounge, and playgrounds.
• Sleeping Arrangements: Dogs must sleep in their own bed, crate, or cage and are not allowed on any park furniture (beds, couches, etc.). A cleaning fee of up to $250 may be charged for non-compliance.

3. Fees and Financial Responsibility

• Pet Fee: A fee of NZD $10 per dog, per stay applies. This must be paid upon check-in.
• Damage Liability: The pet owner is financially responsible for any injury to persons or pets, and any property damage caused by their dog.

4. On-Premises Rules

• Leash Requirement: Dogs must be kept on a lead and under physical control at all times while within the park grounds.
• Waste Removal: Owners are required to immediately 'Scoop the Poop'. Proper disposal of all dog waste in sealed bags is mandatory.
  • Poop bags are available at the office.
  • Please dispose of all waste bags in the general rubbish bins (not recycling bins).
• Unattended Pets: Dogs are not permitted to be left alone at the site, in a unit, or locked in vehicles while unattended.
